Budhuvir Industrial Training Centre, Bartoli, P.B.No-01, Rourkela-769008 (Odisha) is affiliated to the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) under the Directorate General of Employment, Govt. of India, and is recognised by DTE&T and SCTE&VT (Odisha).
With the dawning of the new millennium and the country's commitment to economic liberalisation and globalisation, the need for a skilled workforce became urgent. The rapid industrialisation of Odisha demanded technically qualified manpower. Budhuvir ITI was founded in Bartoli, Rourkela to answer that call — imparting trade training under the Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS) to the rural youth of Odisha and neighbouring states of Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, and Chhattisgarh.
To prepare technically and socially competent workforce for society and industry through the diffusion of knowledge, development of technical skill, and an environment that fosters continuous improvement in performance and quality. We educate students from across the state — including local and rural areas — so they become enlightened individuals who improve the living standards of their families, industries, and society.
